Since 2007 employed at Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, where she is the Head of the Division of Applied Geochemistry and Environmental Engineering. Since 2021 she is also the Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Affairs. For years, he has been dealing with the subject of waste management in the energy sector, developing e.g. sorbents both for cleaning flue gas from CO2 and Hg as well as for hydrogen storage. In this area, she was the manager of the award-winning LIDER project entitled "The use of energy waste raw materials to capture gaseous forms of mercury from flue gases". In the field of CO2 capture and hydrogen storage, he also coordinates and manages international projects, working with units such as the University of Nottingham, Great Britain or the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Pretoria, South Africa. She cooperate also with IEA CCC, but also with scientific units from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia and others.
