Since 2010  the councilor of the Silesian Voivodship Parliament. Since 2014 the mayor of Jastrzębie-Zdrój. In 2018 as the first in the city history won the presidency in the first round of election.

In 2022, according to the Newsweek,  fourteenth in the ranking of the best mayors of Polish cities.

Chairwoman of the Association of Mining Communities in Poland. Member of the Board of the Union of the Western Subregion. Member of the Monitoring Committee of European Funds for Slaskie for 2021-2027. Thanks to its commitment to the process of just transformation on the national and European arena, Jastrzębie-Zdrój in 2023 won the title of Energy Transformation Leader awarded by the National Climate Congress.
