Tomasz Chróstny has been the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for over two years. Beforehand, he had held the position of the Vice President of UOKiK. In the past, he worked in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology and performed functions of the Director of the Department of Economic Analysis there. Moreover, Mr. Chróstny used to serve at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Previously, he had participated in projects in the field of auditing financial statements of financial institutions, business valuation and detection of crime and fraud. He also had prepared economic, market and sector analyzes as well as economic forecasts. At present, he is also a representative of the minister responsible for economy in the scientific council of the Polish Economic Institute.
