Philip Velmer studied Management & Economics at the Ruhr-University in Bochum and obtained his master’s degree in European Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
He has been working for the business promotion agency of the German federal state of North Rhine Westphalia (NRW) since 2018. Since then, he gained profound experience in planning and supporting outgoing activities of German small and medium sized enterprises on federal state level. Further, he is supporting foreign companies and investors in their project decisions by providing access to right network and business partners in NRW. Since mid-2021 he is Head of Business Unit CEE and Israel.
