Position: Central & Eastern Europe Human Resources Director
Monika Kościelna has been professionally involved in human resources management and communication for 18 years. She joined Alstom in 2004 and started working in the HR department of Alstom Konstal plant in Chorzów. At Alstom, she gained experience in HR and Communications, with responsibility for HR at the Alstom Konstal plant in Chorzów, and then for additional external sites in Silesia, to become HR Director for Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, Ukraine and the Baltics from 2021. Her main areas of responsibility are talent, competency and performance management, advising on labour law, HR policies and guidelines, Ethics and Compliance and Corporate Social Responsibility, and preparing the organisation's HR development strategy in Central and Eastern Europe. . The good HR practices implemented by Monika Kościelna at Alstom have been confirmed by the Top Employer Polska Certificate three times - in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
She is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice in the field of Management and Organisation, as well as Management and Marketing at the Academy of Economics in Katowice and postgraduate studies in Labour Law at the Jagiellonian University.
