Former lecturer at, among others, the Academy of Economics in Wrocław.
Graduate of, among others, the University of Wrocław, the Central Connecticut State University in Business Administration, and the Universities of Hamburg and Basel.
Initiator and co-author of the Strategy for Responsible Development and reforms of economic law and public finances in Poland.
In his youth, he was active in the anti-communist opposition - Solidarność Walcząca and the Independent Students' Association. He was published in the magazines of the anti-communist underground, among others, in the "Biuletyn Dolnośląski".
Privately, a husband and a father to four children.
