Marcin Gołaszewski

Company: City of Łódź Office

Position: Chairman of the City Council

Polish Germanist - literary scholar - with a postdoctoral degree in the humanities. He remains an active academic lecturer as a professor at the University of Łódź and at the University of Social Sciences in Łódź.

As a local government official and politician, he is socially involved in the functioning of the city. He is actively involved in the actions of non-governmental organizations aimed at combating social exclusion and all forms of discrimination.

Since 2018, he has been the Chairman of the City Council in Łódź. He represents Łódź in the Association of Polish Cities, where he is also a member of the Audit Committee.
