Luke Haywood is a labour and climate economist working in the climate research institute MCC (Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change).
Currently, Luke is lead researcher of the project Economic Consequences of Coal Exit analyzing the welfare effects for workers of transiting to a post-fossil economy.
Before joining MCC, Luke worked at the public economics department of the German Economic Research institute (DIW Berlin) and at the OECD in Paris. He has taught economics in Oxford, Paris and Berlin. He received his PhD at the Paris School of Economics.
