Katarzyna Kowalska was appointed Vice-President of the Management Board of KUKE in June 2016. She is a graduate of the Poznań Univesity of Economics and Business with a major in Finance and Accounting (specialty in corporate capital investments and financial strategies). Also, a graduate of the London School of Economics.
She commenced her professional career in financial consulting. Since 2012, she worked as Business Developer in the payments industry responsible for business development in Central and Eastern European countries, among others in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Kazakhstan. She handled business relations with banks and interbank institutions, including central banks and clearing houses. Next, Katarzyna Kowalska held the post of Deputy Director of the Large Investment Support Department in the Ministry of Development, where she was responsible for managing relations with both domestic and foreign financial institutions as well as coordinating sources and financial instruments.
