Prof. Katarzyna Bilewska is a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration practice group in Dentons’ Warsaw office, where she leads the Corporate Disputes practice.
Katarzyna specialises in handling shareholder disputes and domestic and international court and registry proceedings. She combines expertise in corporate law with practical litigation experience. She advises at the pre-trial stage and represents clients before the courts. She is also engaged in developing alternative dispute resolution approaches.
She is a professor in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She was also head of the Commercial Law Department in this Faculty from 2017 to 2020.
She authored nearly 200 articles and dissertations on civil and commercial law, notably a Commercial Law handbook (2021).
Katarzyna Bilewska is recognized by international legal directories: Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 EMEA.
