Position: Director, Business Transformation and External Relations
Jacek Nieweglowski has over 25 years of executive and professional experience within the mobile industry. Since 2021 he has been responsible for Business Transformation and External Relations in Cellnex Poland. From 2005 until 2019 he held the position of Chief Strategy Officer of Play – Europe’s most successful mobile operator. Prior to Play he served in executive positions with numerous Polish fixed line and cable TV operators. Until 2000 he served as Network Development Director of Era GSM, where he was responsible for network design, engineering and operations. He started his carrier in corporate R&D of Nokia in Finland where as a project manager he led the development of multimedia services for mobile networks. He also represented Nokia in international standardization activities of ITU standardization activities as well as during creation of the MPEG-4 standard.
He is co-author of more than 20 scientific publications and patents related to multimedia technologies. He received a MBA degree from London Business School, a PhD from Tampere University of Technology in Finland.
