Anatolij Kinach

President of Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of Association of Employer Organizations of Ukraine

Well-known political and public figure of Ukraine, born on August 4, 1954. Graduated from Leningrad Ship Building Institute as engineer-ship-builder. Started his career at Ship Building Plant “Ocean” in Mykolayiv.

He was Member of Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine of six convocations. Chair of the committees for industrial policy and national security and defense.

Experienced in activities related to public authorities of all levels – from the regional administration head to the prime minister. In 1995 Anatolii Kinakh was appointed to Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Industrial Policy, in 1999 to the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.

May 2001 – November 2002 – Prime Minister of Ukraine

In February of 2005 appointed to the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine

In September of 2005 appointed to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

In 2007 appointed to the Minister of Economy of Ukraine

Since 1997 Anatolii Kinakh has been the President of Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE). Under his leadership ULIE has initiated reforms, developed laws and legislative acts engaging leading law experts, economists, academicians, businessmen. Anatolii Kinakh launches wide public deliberations of the pivotal economic projects and proposals, protects rights of industrialists and entrepreneurs in public-private partnership, fosters regular contacts between ULIE and foreign associations of industrialists and entrepreneurs.

 In 2009 – 2011 he presided in the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Now he is the First Vice President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
