Position: Mayor of Gliwice
Since 2020, the Mayor of Gliwice. Previously, a long-term Deputy Mayor of the City, responsible, among others, for spatial planning and the municipal geographic information system, real estate management and housing, the environment, as well as geodesy and cartography. Engineer, graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology. After graduation, he worked for five years in industry: in Zakłady Pomiarowo-Badawcze Energetyki “Energopomiar Gliwice” and Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej - municipal heating plant. For the next 18 years, he ran his own business. For over a dozen years he has also been a lecturer in the field of real estate management at post-graduate studies at the University of Silesia, at the University of Technology in Katowice and at the Academy of Business School in Dąbrowa Górnicza. He actively participates in the life of the local community by sharing his knowledge and experience.
