The European Forum of Young Leaders will provide participants from Poland, other European Union countries, the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus with a space to share experiences, establish contacts and discuss topics important to young people across Europe.
Edyta Hetmaniok is an Associate Professor employed in the Department of Mathematics Applications and Methods for Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics in the Silesian University of Technology. She is a master engineer in Mathematics, she received PhD degree in Physical Science in 2005 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in the Silesian University of Technology and MSc degree in Technical Science (Mechanics) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science in Czestochowa University of Technology. Her main scientific interests concern the analytical and approximate methods in solving technical problems, in particular with the use of artificial intelligence optimisation algorithms inspired by nature. She is an author or co-author of more than 200 publications of various range and meaning. Since 2016 she acts as a Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics in SUT. She is also a member of Education Council in the Silesian University of Technology.
