Karin Sköld took the position of CEO and CSO at IKEA Retail in Poland in September 2020. She was the Area Manager, responsible for building the company growth on local markets outside Warsaw, since January 2019.

She started working at IKEA in 2003 at the IKEA Kållered store in Sweden. From 2004, she was involved in supply planning for 2 years, and then took care of purchasing strategies and management. In 2013, she took the position of Project Manager IKEA Food Services in Sweden, where she worked for a year. For the next 3 years, Karin was as an Assistant to CEO Ingka Group, and then managed the IKEA store in China.

Karin graduated from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management.
