The market-oriented expert combining many years of experience in the industry with a fresh approach to pro-market organization and conducting research appropriate for the young generation of Polish R&D managers.

Since April 1, 2019 the vice president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Europe’s third largest R&D network, providing business with attractive, broad and competitive technological solutions. Previously he was a deputy director of the Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal in Zabrze, one of the most resilient and market-oriented research institutes in Poland for almost 10 years. He was a member of an informal group of experts at the NCBiR advising on simplifying and adjusting the reporting and settlement methods of research and investment projects in the R&D sphere in the Innovative Economy Operational Program and later in the Innovative Development Operational Program to the beneficiaries’ needs. He actively co-founded the Polish KIC Innoenergy structures – the Knowledge and Excellence node financed by the European Institute of Technology (European Commission Agency) financing research on innovative methods of energy production and storage.

He advised the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in creating the guidelines for the Research Network: Łukasiewicz.

He graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the University of Economics in Katowice. He is a graduate of the prestigious business program for science managers implemented in Barcelona by ESADE Business School – the leading Spanish Business School.
