Position: Mayor of Stalowa Wola

Lucjusz Nadbereżny

Born on May 21, 1985. He has been the Mayor of Stalowa Wola since 2014. His career in local government began in 2006 when he became the youngest City Councilor in the history of the city at that time, combining his self-government duties with managerial functions in public administration. As a director in 2013, he introduced innovative and model solutions at the Provincial Road Traffic Center in Tarnobrzeg. From 2014, he managed the Organizational and Legal Department at the Marshal's Office in Rzeszów.

In 2014, he was elected Mayor of Stalowa Wola and was subsequently re-elected in 2018 and 2024. Lucjusz Nadbereżny has earned a reputation as an efficient and effective local government official. In 2015, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, appointed him to the National Development Council.

He has been honored with numerous awards, including the Gold Cross of Merit for his dedicated service to local governance in Poland. He also received the Grzegorz Palka Award for nationwide contributions to local government, the title of "Podkarpackie Local Government Official Close to Families – Amicus Familiae," and was named "Local Government Official of the Year 2019."

He holds degrees in political science and law, having graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Catholic University of Lublin in Stalowa Wola.

Privately, he is a happy husband to Aleksandra and a father to Miłosz, Gabriel, and Anastazja.
