Artur Tomasik – manager with many years of management experience in the financial and aviation industries, who also has experience in supervising domestic and foreign companies. Chairman of the Board of the Upper Silesian Aviation Group (Górnośląskie Towarzystwo Lotnicze SA), the company managing Katowice Airport. Chairman of the Civil Aviation Personnel Education Centre of Central and Eastern Europe programme board at the Silesian University of Technology. Since 2011, Artur Tomasik is the chairman of the Polish Regional Airports Association (Związek Regionalnych Portów Lotniczych), and – since 2019 – the chairman of the university council of the Silesian University of Technology. Artur Tomasik graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Die Akademie fur Fuhrungskrafte der Wirtschaft in Bad Harzburg. Artur Tomasik completed postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in Katowice and the International School of Banking and Finance in Katowice.
