Andrzej Korpak has been associated with Opel/Vauxhall since 1997, holding sequentially the following positions: Health and Safety manager, Human Resources manager and Manufacturing director. In the years 2007 - 2010 he was the director of the ISPOL engine factory in Tychy, to become, in April 2010, the director of the General Motors Manufacturing Poland factory in Gliwice. He was responsible for the merger of the GM Manufacturing Poland and GM Powertrain Polska companies. In November 2013 appointed a general director of the newly established GM Manufacturing Poland (currently Opel Manufacturing Poland) company, which includes the plant manufacturing passenger cars in Gliwice, the engine factory in Tychy and the Shared Services Centre for Opel/Vauxhall.

Manager with many years of experience in regional projects in the ​​automotive and innovation areas. Actively involved in cooperation with scientific communities and the automotive cluster, operating within the framework of the "Silesia Automotive" Platform created as part of the Katowice Special Economic Zone.

Andrzej Korpak has been honored with the medal for "Dedicated to the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Power Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology".

He graduated from the Mechanical and Power Engineering of Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
