Zdenek Karasek is Moravia-Silesia Governor’s Deputy for RESTART and Coal Regions in Transition programs. His professional background is related to a strategic consultancy focused on development of regions and cities as well as on people development with a special focus on transversal soft skills, people oriented culture in organizations, transferability of skills in the processes of restructuring and change, policy consulting in education and employment, innovation culture and innovation ecosystems, partnerships of key stakeholders in the regional development – Territorial Employment Pacts etc. Zdenek facilitates meetings bringing together various partners and helps them to find a common strategy and action plan and to co-operate in implementation. Besides strategic consultancy Zdenek is a practitioner experienced in project management of strategic services focused on replacement of people made redundant in restructuring or unemployed back to labour market.
