Mr. Temesgen Tilahun is the Deputy Commissioner at the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), currently leading the Policy Research and Improvement Division at EIC where he is mainly responsible for coordinating the investment policy researches activities and investment climate improvement initiatives of the commission. Mr Temesgen has been working at the Industrial Parks Division which is mandated to facilitation of investments in Industrial Parks as well as streamlining the operational process and ensuring the timely delivery and completion of Industrial Parks.   Mr. Temesgen is also a member of the EIC executive management team in charge of developing and executing key strategic decisions of the Commission.

Prior to joining the EIC, Mr. Temesgen was a Senior Advisor at the former Minister of Science and Technology’s (MoST) the now Ministry of Innovation and Technology office of the Research and Technology Affairs state minister.  As an advisor, Mr. Temesgen focused on strengthening the Academic, Research and International Relations and cooperation endeavours of higher education institutions under the Ministry, and was also responsible in coordinating mega and flagship projects bestowed to this particular wing of the Ministry.  Mr. Temesgen also served as Director of International Relations and Cooperation at the ministry prior to becoming a Senior Advisor.
