Position: Chairman of the Board

A graduate of the Poznan University of Technology at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. He started his professional career in the water and sewage industry when he commenced his work at the Voivodship Water Supply and Sewage Enterprise in Konin as the head of the Operations Department. After arriving in Bydgoszcz from 1988, he started working at the Office of Municipal Construction Projects, where he was involved in the design of water and sewage infrastructure, and in 1995 – in the municipal waterworks as the head of the Technical and Investment Department.

In 1997 he won the competition for the position of Director of the Office of Municipal Construction Design in Bydgoszcz. In September 1999 he was appointed to the Management Board of MWiK, in which he is the President of the Management Board until today. In the years 2002-2012, he managed the modernization of the whole Bydgoszcz water and sewage system co-financed by the European Union under two investment projects: Bydgoszcz Water and Sewerage System (BSWiK) and Bydgoszcz Water and Sewerage System II (BSWiK II). At that time, a total of 31 investment tasks related to the development of water supply and sewage technical infrastructure were implemented. In parallel with his professional work he held many functions at the  Chamber of Commerce ” Polish Waterworks”.

In the years 2002-2012, he was a member of the Chamber Council, including vice-president in the years 2004-2006, and in the years 2006-2011 the president of the Chamber. In addition, in the period 2005 – 2006 he was a member of the Management Board of Wodna Kapuściska. In the years 2013-2016 he managed works related to the development of a comprehensive project “Construction and reconstruction of storm water drainage system and adaptation of rainwater drainage system to climate change in Bydgoszcz”.
