Since 2006 deputy mayor of Tarnowskie Góry for economic affairs. He oversees issues related to investments and renovations, architecture, real estate and spatial planning and also tasks related to the current maintenance of the city (cleanliness, road maintenance, communication, municipal resources).

He graduated from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He constantly raises his qualifications. He has completed an intensive managerial training, and then MBA. He has over twenty years of managerial experience, which he has gained in companies located in Tarnowskie Góry, such as TAGOR and Chemet. He is also experienced in running his own business.

He has worked for the last 12 years for the development of the Tarnowskie Góry. Annually, the city allocates about PLN 50 million for investments. The result is a new sewage treatment plant along with a sewage system, renovation of the old town, renovation of cultural facilities, modern playgrounds and a sports hall, a new bus station with modern buses and new municipal buildings. Thanks to the effective acquisition of European funds, the Tarnowskie Góry made an impressive jump.
