Janusz Piechociński served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Republic of Poland from 2012 to 2015. During his service in Ministry of Economy he led multiple business missions, focusing particularly on strengthening economic ties, as well as fostering trade relations between countries.

Mr Piechocinski went to Republic of Korea in 2015 with President of Republic of Poland Mr Bronislaw Komorowski. During his mission Mr Piechocinski had meeting with President of Republic of Korea, Prime Minister of Republic of Korea and with Minister of Economy of Republic of Korea.

Mr. Piechociński is a Chairman of Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce and an Executive Advisor.
Janusz Piechociński is an economist and has many years of experience in economic analysis and promotion of investment. He is also an University lecturer at Polish best economic University – Warsaw School of Economics.

Janusz Piechociński was first elected to Sejm (the lower house of the Polish parliament) as a candidate of Polish People’s Party in 1991. Mr. Piechociński was also a member of Sejm 1993-1997, 2001-2005, 2007-2015. From 2012 to 2015 he was a Leader of Polish People’s Party.
