Andrzej Adamski (born in 1970) – Dr. habil. in chemical sciences, employed at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow since 1999. Specialist in physical chemistry of oxide systems applied in heterogeneous catalysis and also in spectroscopy, environmental chemistry and sustainable processes. Head of Environmental Catalysis Team since 2013. Author and co-author of over 75 papers, 4 chapters in monographs, over 170 conference presentations and 6 patents. Creator and the first leader of Environmental Chemistry Department. Starting from 2012 he is responsible for the study in Environmental Protection. In the years 2013-2016 Rector’s Proxy for KICs and CCs. Since 2016 - Rector’s Proxy for Innovations. Leader and participant of over 15 research and educational projects, including 4 thematic projects financed by the European Institute of Technology (EIT). Scientific scholarships at the Universities in Leipzig, Paris VI and Leuven-la-Neuve. In the years 1999-2001
post-doctoral stay at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie in Paris. Laureate of several awards for scientific activity and teaching from the Rector of the Jagiellonian University. Award from Europe France Inventeurs for innovative solutions for lean methane combustion presented at Brussels Innova Fair.
