Mr. Hunzinger has more than 17 years of experience in infrastructure financing, private equity and corporate finance. As Managing Director at SUSI, Mr. Hunzinger is responsible for the investment activities, the business development and the strategic direction of the energy efficiency platform. He is responsible for more than 40 Energy Efficiency Transactions to date with a total investment volume of more than EUR 250m. Mr. Hunzinger has formed key partnerships with market leading energy companies as well as with policy makers and lobby groups.

Prior to joining SUSI, he served for more than seven years as Investment Director and Vice President for a US and German private equity investment fund investing capital in the cleantech sector
He served on the board of several companies including two publicly listed companies
Previously he held positions in the M&A/Corporate finance department of a German investment bank advising on transactions in the utility and public sector being involved among others in more than 12 privatizations of public infrastructure companies
Mr. Hunzinger studied business administration at the University of Cologne, Germany and Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Brazil.
