Zygmunt Grajkowski has over 30 years of experience in strategic management, M&A, corporate finance and investment fields gained on managerial positions in IT companies, international consulting companies and private equity/venture capital funds.

Since 2012, Mr. Grajkowski is the Managing Partner of the Giza Polish Ventures I fund, which provided financial support to 34 innovative entrepreneurs and scientists from the new technology sector http://gpventures.pl/portfolio/ such as Audioteka, HoloSurgical, Hipromine, Finanteq, YieldPlanet.

In years 2014-2015, Zygmunt Grajkowski also co-founded StartUpHub Poland foundation, whose mission is to encourage enterprising Polish people and scientists working abroad to re-emigrate and set up their own startup in Poland, and to support immigration of talented innovators from countries located to the east of Poland, including those with Polish origins. The foundation pursues these goals by helping talented engineers to set up their own business in Poland with the foundation's organizational support and also financial support from technological incubator – StartVenture@Poland and StarFinder which is managed by the foundation and financed from NCBiR’s BridgeAlfa Program.

In 1986 he founded one of the first technology company in Poland – Technimex – the leading provider of LAN/WAN networks as well as innovative CAD/CAM solutions implementation company what he managed as a CEO for 10 years.

Over the next years Zygmunt served as a director of mergers and acquisitions department of a consulting company Pricewaterhouse in Poland https://www.pwc.pl/en/o-nas.html.

For the next five years ( 1997-2002), he was a Partner and a Member of the Board of a Private Equity fund – Enterprise Investors https://www.ei.com.pl/en/ the company managing one of the largest VC / PE funds in Central Europe (investment assets totaling more than $1 billion).

At Enterprise Investors, Zygmunt Grajkowski was responsible for investments in technology companies as well as exits mainly through introducing the companies to the WSE. His portfolio included many of the present leading largest IT companies like listed on WSE Asseco Poland, Comp SA or AB SA,
Since 2003, Mr. Grajkowski has been the owner of VBM Consulting – a M&A boutique advisory company which realized more than 100 strategic projects including equity transactions like mergers and acquisitions with a total value of engaged capital of over Euro 200m, including leading companies currently involved in the software development and implementation of information technology in Poland and Central Europe.

Since 2017 Zygmunt Grajkowski is an independent member of Investment Committee of PFR Ventures – (Polish Development Fund) https://pfrventures.pl/en/ – the Fund of Funds managing over PLN 1,5 bln funds in programs: Starter, Open Innovations, Koffi and Bridge CVC/VC.
