Position: Deputy Director, Department of Sustainable Development and International Co-operation

Deputy Director of the Department of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation in the Polish Ministry of the Environment. An experienced State government officer specialized in programming and implementing of development policies and EU affairs. 

Born in 1978 in Warsaw. Holds a degree in political science of the University of Warsaw as well as postgraduate diploma in public relations from the Warsaw School of Economics. He also graduated from the Regional Development Academy at the University of Warsaw. Recently attended Top Public Executive Programme by IESE Business School and KSAP. 

Professionally, starting from 2003, involved in working out strategies as well as development programs co-financed under the EU cohesion policy, particularly in the field of environmental protection, regional investments, sustainable urban development.

From 2010 attended the Coordination Committee for Development Policy, the advisory body for the Prime Minister. Recently, responsible for developing the National Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change 2020, the first strategic document in Poland in this field. Currently supervises the process of it’s implementation in collaboration with different stakeholders at national and local levels.
