Matteo Marini is the Chairman of the Board of ABB S.p.A., Italy and the Lead Division Manager, Power Grids Division Europe

He has more than 27 years of experience in the world of Power and Automation, having covered various positions in the areas of Marketing, Product management, Sales, Project management, with positions based in China, UK, Switzerland and Italy.

He’s a strong believer in technologies which preserve our environment and enhance our cultural heritage. “Run the world without consuming the earth” could be his motto, along with the determined view that ABB has a role to play to make ours a smarter, stronger and greener world.

Thanks to his strong commitment on the national energy and industrial strategy, he plays several prestigious roles, among which:
