Ireneusz Piecuch is a Polish-qualified legal advisor, a partner at CMS, Global Co-Head of the Communication Sector and CEE Leader of Technology, Media & Communication.

Ireneusz has considerable business and regulatory experience and an excellent knowledge of the Telco and new technology industries. Over the last 25 years he has supervised a number of complex projects in Poland and the region, and has served as a member of the Management and Supervisory Boards of international corporations and companies listed on the WSE.

Besides practicing at CMS, in the years 2013-2015 Ireneusz Piecuch was Vice President of Poczta Polska responsible for technology development, strategy and international activity. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009 Ireneusz worked for Orange (previously Telekomunikacja Polska) as a General Counsel and then as a member of the Management Board responsible for strategy and business development. Earlier, for 11 years he held various positions at IBM, including Head of the CEE Legal Department, where he developed an outsourcing practice in CEE, and was also Vice President of the firm in Poland. His professional experience includes roles on the supervisory boards of, among others, KGHM Polska Miedź SA and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA.
