Bohdana Horáčková is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering at the Technical University in Ostrava. She joined CEZ from a private sector, from the position of shareholder and director of a company dealing with the regulation and automation of drives.

Previously, as a board member, she managed marketing projects in the Conti Capital Group a.s. In the years 1996 – 1999 she was a PR director of the Moravia Steel a.s. and Třinecké železárny a. s.
