Doctor of  Technical Sciences,  a graduate of  Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy in the field of composites and plastics. She obtained her doctor's degree in 2011 for the work "Influence of natural fibers surface modification on the mechanical properties of laminates".

Author and  co-author of over a dozen publications  in the field of technology and research composite and polymer materials, both on a national and  an  international scale.

The main areas of professional specialization and interests include, among others,  issues of composite materials manufacturing technology, R & D research, assessment of material properties and quality management systems. She specializes in the research of mechanical properties of materials, structures or their components.

For several years, she has been conducting research as well as managing research and development projects in the field of materials and aerospace technologies carried out by the Silesian Science and Technology Centre of Aviation Industry Ltd. co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development and the European Space Agency.
