Włodzimierz Kocon graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the Warsaw School of Economics (former SGPiS). He also holds an MBA degree from the Warsaw University of Technology. For more than 20 years he has been working in the investment sector and in the real property market. He has gained his professional experience in holding managerial positions at PwC, Von der Heyden Group, APP Polska sp. z o.o. and Gerald Eve International (Poland) Sp. z o.o.

From 2007 to 2013 he worked at PZU Asset Management/TFI PZU as the Head of the Real Property Sector Office in charge of the investment activities of PZU Group in the real property market. In 2013 he worked at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and was the co-developer of the concept of the Flats Apartments for Rent Fund. He prepared the investment strategy of the BGK Nieruchomości S.A, the bank’s subsidiary and headed it as the President of the Management Board.

Before becoming the Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, he was an independent real property market advisor. He holds a professional estate agent’s licence and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
