Piotr Wojaczek - since 1996 President of the Board in Katowice Special Economic Zone Co.. Chairman of Special Economic Zones Conference in Poland. Member of Working Group on Cluster Policy in The Ministry of Economy. Graduate of The Silesian University of Technology. Graduated from PhD studies at The Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Prizewinner of numerous awards including ISTTD Los Angeles for the contribution in the development of economy with particular consideration of citizens’ living standard improvement and „Crystal Dragon of Success“ for best managers on the Polish market in 2014. Under his leadership The Board of Katowice Special Economic Zone Co. developed an area of over 1000 ha, acquiring at the same time over 22 billion PLN of investment capital and creating over 56 000 work places. An initiator of established in 2011 cluster „Silesia Automotive“, which purpose is to create Central European competence region in automotive industry.
