Krzysztof Mikuła is an experienced manager, lawyer and member of the local government. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. He completed postgraduate management studies based on the MBA structure at the Warsaw School of Economics.
At the beginning of his career, he was involved in local government activity. As a Member of the Polish Sejm (2005-2007) he took effective measures to hand over Silesian public benefit corporations to the local government.
In 2010-2014 he performed the function of the Vice-President, and later the President of the company TBS Katowice. He worked there on the concepts of building rental apartments with the possibility of gradually acquiring the ownership, and coordinated the preparation and execution of one of the first social housing investments in Poland, financed by the issuance of bonds.
From December 2014 to September 2015 he performed the function of the Deputy Mayor of Katowice, where he supervised matters related to spatial planning, architecture, construction, city development and transport.
In June 2016 he became the Capital Group Vice-President in Węglokoks S.A.
