Hon. John Abraham Godson is the first black member of the Polish Parliament in Polish history (2010-2015) and a social entrepreneur. He is the president of the GODSON group- a conglomerate of 5 companies and 5 charities. His company- Afropoland specializes in helping Polish companies in Africa while the African Institute promotes partnership between Poland and Africa. It also organises the Polish-Africa Economic Forum- POLAFRO in Poland and in Africa. His scholarship foundations- Partnership for Lodz and John Godson Foundation have given out 120 annual scholarships to inteligent students from underprivileged backgrounds in Poland and Africa.
