elected in early election on 30th September 2012 to be the Mayor of Bytom. He took the oath on 8th October 2012. He was born on 1973 in Bytom. He obtained the title of Master of Legal Studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Silesian University in Katowice. Since he was a child he has been involved in sport and activity of Polonia Bytom, where he went through all levels of the players career – from playing as a youngster to participating in games in a senior team at the back-up of the Polish Football Premier League. In 2004 he became the Chairman of the Board of Polonia Bytom and led the team from the third league to the Premier League. Currently he is a Member of the Board of the Silesian Football Association. In years 2002 - 2008 he worked in the Municipal Office in Bytom, providing legal supervision in the Department of Architecture. Besides sport, he is also involved in business, providing advisory services and being a member of supervisory boards in the commercial law companies. He has been honoured with the title Man of Merit for the City of Bytom and awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Bronze Cross of Merit.
